Traditional gift-giving event undertaken at Valencian hospitals

Valencia CF have an annual tradition of visiting Valencian hospitals, and specifically of meeting those on the children's ward during Christmas.
Although the COVID pandemic has meant that, for the last two years, actual visits in person to the children's rooms has not been possible, the club this year delivered more than 300 Valencia CF gifts to those at the La Fe, Hospital Clinic, Doctor Peset, Hospital General and IMED facilities for those who have to spend the holiday season away from home.
Hospital La Fe was visited by club captains José Gayà, Jaume Doménech and Carlos Soler, accompanied by president Anil Murthy, executive director Joey Lim, general director of the VCF Foundation, Teo Swee Wei, and director general of the VCF Academy, Sean Bai.
Jaume said that "For Valencia CF, this is a very important cause. Supporting kids who will spend Christmas in hospital is very nice, and they are always happy about the visit."
Mr. Murthy added that "Anil Murthy: “It is a commitment that the club wants to reinforce in order to maintain this tradition at Christmas and bring joy to children in difficult times. The club continues to carry out these activities through the VCF Foundation, especially in this period, to try to help society in difficult times."
All gifts were passed on to the children, who were grateful for the support and generosity of the club.
